Software Tester

We are looking for a Software Tester to work on our app for parents and schools.

About you

  • Charismatic and fit into teams well
  • 1 - 2 years experience in QA testing apps/games/web apps
  • Experience in preparing test documentation including test plans, test scripts, defect reports and progress updates

Skills that are good to have

  • Experience with Defect Management tools, such as Jira
  • Self-starter – must be able to guide their own work
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies – Scrum, Kanban
  • Basic experience in any of the following: HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Exposure to Automation testing (Selenium and Protractor)

Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager to be the ‘CEO of the product’ for our app for parents and schools.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the Classlist platform. With over 2,000 schools signed up in the UK and overseas, we are on a mission to make parent life easier with our trusted community platform. This exciting role covers the full range of product management responsibilities for our iOS and Android app and our mobile and desktop site. Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning the strategic vision for the platform.
  • Gaining a deep understanding of customer needs based on analytics and user research.
  • Commissioning and reviewing analytical data and metrics to monitor success.
  • Leading on product innovation, iterating fast to test new ideas rapidly and get them to market quickly.
  • Decision-making on development priorities.
  • Continuously improving development processes, working in an Agile framework as a key member of the development team.

About you:

  • An experienced digital product professional
  • Experience of product managing a complex B2C app
  • A first-class project manager
  • Creative and entrepreneurial
  • A good understanding of design principles and UX
  • A great communicator, skilled at motivating the team and getting management buy-in
  • Excellent written English
  • Analytical skills
  • Can-do collaborative attitude, comfortable in a fast paced environment

iOS developer

We are looking for an iOS developer to work on our app.

  • Published at least one app to the App Store
  • Familiar with Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
  • Familiar with the iOS UI tests framework

  • Worked with Continuous Integration and app release flow
  • Experience with WKWebview
  • Experience with in-app purchases
